1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using PawPoint, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you must not access or use our services.
2. User Accounts & Security
To access certain features of the platform, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and maintain the security of your account credentials. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Platform Services & Bookings
PawPoint acts as a venue to connect Pet Owners and Pet Sitters. We do not employ or endorse any sitters. While we vet sitters, pet owners are responsible for evaluating and selecting sitters. Any booking made is a direct contract between the owner and the sitter.
4. Fees, Payments & Subscriptions
Certain services (e.g. Active Premium) require paid subscriptions or transaction fees. All payments are processed through secure third-party processors. Active Premium subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled prior to the renewal date in your profile settings.
5. User Conduct & Safety
Users must interact with respect and honesty. Any neglect, abuse of animals, harassment of users, or fraudulent activity is strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate account termination, ban from the platform, and potential legal action.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PawPoint shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform, including pet injury, property damage, or disputes between users.
7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PawPoint operates. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that region.
